Tell us a little about Hemköp Alingsås!
– We are a medium-sized grocery store in Alingsås with a strong focus on great food and personal service. We care deeply about our local community and place great emphasis on quality products from local suppliers.

How long have you been working with Karlborgs?
– Since my husband and I took over the store in 2013.

What does your collaboration involve?
– Karlborgs helps us with everything related to electrical systems, refrigeration and heating. This can include finding the right lighting solutions, installing new refrigeration systems with modern alarm systems, or recovering heat from the refrigeration systems for use in underfloor heating and space heating.

What have you achieved together?
– Significant savings – very significant, in fact! This is fully aligned with Hemköp’s sustainability goals: reducing food waste, plastic use and energy consumption, while increasing the proportion of sustainability-certified products. Together, we have also created a more attractive store in terms of lighting, indoor environment and overall comfort.

What do you appreciate about Karlborgs?
– They provide a high level of service and understand how to work in a retail environment while taking both customers and staff into consideration. They are highly skilled, responsive and flexible – and they are our problem-solvers for everything within their areas of expertise.
